For me, South Bangalore is the best for residence as the place consists of local people besides the modern amenities and lifestyle. :)
The areas includes residences within the affordable budgeted pricings:-
Doddapallasandra, Bommanahalli, Ashok Nagar, Gavipuram, osurRoad, Kammanahalli, HSR Layout. :D 8-)

North Bangalore

Bellary Road and Hebbal are the best known for the residential residences. A good infrastructure with international airport is being built here giving it a new name as" NEW BANGALORE". Here the appreciated value will be upto 10 years. :)

South Bangalore
Here the appreciated value is steadily increasing. Not gone much higher, the south bangalore has more complexity with a well established infrastructure residences coming up-with. 8-)
